WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE END TIMES
2 Peter 3:9-13

Many Christians wrongly believe that Bible prophecy is too difficult to understand or too irrelevant to everyday life to matter.  However, as we will discover today, neither claim is true.  As we come to the end of our series today, it seems appropriate to address “What every Christian should know about the end times.”

WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE CHURCH

Ephesians 5:25

Many Christians view the church as an outdated and irrelevant organization that may have outlived its relevance in today’s world.  But as we will discover today, God established the church as His primary vessel to accomplish His purpose on the earth.

WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT SIN

Romans 5:12

Someone has said, “What you believe about sin determines what you believe about salvation.”  Before we can fully understand and appreciate the salvation Jesus offers, we must understand why we need salvation.  Today, we are going to explore how one wrong choice by the First Couple long ago has impacted every single person who has ever lived.

AMERICA IS A CHRISTIAN NATION

PSALM 33:12

Most people believe that America was founded by people from a wide variety
of religious beliefs who wanted to create a secular nation that was free from any influence of any one particular religion. But as we will discover today, such a version of American history is a complete myth. We are going to examine the historical evidence that allows us to say with conviction that “America was founded as a Christian nation.”

WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT GOD

Psalm 8:1-6

A.W. Tozer wrote, “What comes into our mind when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”  What should come into our minds when we think about God are things that are true about God.  Today, we are going to look at what the Bible reveals to us about God the Father.

WHEN YOU FEEL ABANDONED BY GOD
Matthew 27:45-50

This time of the year we tend to focus on the majesty of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday or the victory of His resurrection on Easter Sunday.  However, few sermons focus on the profound sense of abandonment by His heavenly Father that Jesus felt on Good Friday.  That is our focus today as we look at Jesus’ final moments on the cross.

STRAIGHT TALK ABOUT YOUR ENEMIES
Matthew 5:38-48

Let’s face it, loving people who hate you and “turning the other cheek” to those who want to destroy you is not a popular idea.  How are we to understand and apply Jesus’ commands in a culture in which restraint is seen as a vice and retaliation is viewed as a virtue?

THE ROAD TO SPIRITUAL FITNESS

Ephesians 6:14

If there is one word that summarizes the theme of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, it is “righteousness.”  Jesus defines what righteous living looks like in our daily lives, but today we are going to discover the key to developing that kind of righteousness that leads to genuine joy in this life and unending happiness in the next life.
